About Dr. Rebecca Omokaro

Dr. Rebecca Omokaro, MBBS, MRCGP, CCFP is a dedicated family physician known for her expert, compassionate care and commitment to lifelong wellness. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Igbinedion University, Nigeria, in 2012, and completed her residency training through the Durham & Tees Valley General Practice Training Programme in England in 2024.
She holds memberships with both the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
Dr. Omokaro brings a holistic, patient-centered approach to medicine, with special interests in women’s health, mental wellness, and chronic disease management. Her clinical expertise is complemented by certifications in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington (2019) and in Minor Surgery and Joint Injections from the Royal College of General Practitioners (2023). She is skilled in performing a range of minor procedures, helping to improve access to care within the community.
Outside her clinical role, Dr. Omokaro is the founder of HealthThenMore, a mobile health education app that equips patients and healthcare providers with trustworthy, accessible medical information. Through this platform, she aims to close knowledge gaps and support informed decision-making across diverse populations.
